3. How we collect data
The use of automated interactions by uhub.io may change as technology evolves. Below we describe in more detail how uhub.io currently uses the data collected during automated interactions.
Electronic communication protocols
When visiting web pages or reading HTML emails, information is automatically transmitted from you during the connection process due to technological reasons. This generally includes information on network access (from where you are accessing), about the device (hardware and browser or mail client), your IP address (which may allow conclusions to be drawn about geographical location and company) as well as date and time.
Cookies
We use standard technologies such as cookies or tracking pixels (invisible graphics) in our Service. These serve to make our Service user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the web browser cache of the website user and allow for the recognition of the browser in question. Besides so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted once you log out or close your browser, we also, for instance, use persistent cookies for the “Stay logged in on this computer” function, which recognize a returning user. Our cookies do not harm your computer. You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly. Of course, you can delete cookies at any time using the relevant browser feature. If you delete cookies or set your browser to reject cookies, this may impair the functionality of the Service.
Embedded pixels and tracking technologies
We may use embedded pixel technologies in the electronic channels that serve to identify individual user visits (as opposed to aggregate accesses) or for advertising purposes. Embedded pixels or other technologies may also be used in emails and online advertising. In this case, they disclose when an email or ad has been opened and how effective marketing campaigns are. The data collected with these technologies may be linked to the email address of the recipient.
3.1 Use of Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager in our Service. This service allows JavaScript tags to be managed via a web interface. Google Tag Manager only implements tags. No cookies are placed, and no personal data is collected. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access these data. If a deactivation is made on the domain or cookie level, it remains in effect for all tracking tags unless they are implemented with Google Tag Manager. More information about Google Tag Manager can be found at the following link: http://www.google.de/tagmanager/use-policy.html
3.2 Digital Adoption Platform Usetiful
We use the Usetiful platform to enhance the customer experience. We collect personal data such as first name, last name, email address, and user behavior in the uhub workspace. For the purpose of fulfilling the contract, Usetiful uses a “cookie” to identify returning users and to determine the prior behavior of the user in the uhub workspace.
We use this information to monitor and analyze the use of the Service and for the technical administration of the Service to improve the functionality and usability of the Service and better tailor it to your needs. Detailed information on the use of Usetiful can be accessed at https://www.usetiful.com/privacy-policy.

We use features and interfaces (APIs) from YouTube, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The operator of the platform is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

By authorizing the uhub app to use your Google account, you grant uhub.io access to certain information about your YouTube channel. This access is granted solely at your explicit consent through the OAuth procedure. In this context, the uhub app can:
– Publish, update, or delete videos on your behalf
– Post descriptions and other content you create
– Read channel information (name and icon) and the identity of the associated Google account (name and avatar)
– Store channel and video IDs as well as authentication tokens to ensure the connection and functionality
uhub.io does not read any sensitive personal profile data from your Google or YouTube account (e.g., no email address, no contacts, no subscriptions, or playlists).
The stored data is used solely to provide the integration with YouTube and is not processed for other purposes or shared with third parties. There is no use of the data for advertising or analytical purposes outside of the functionality provision.
As part of the YouTube integration, cookies or similar technologies may be set or read on your device to enable authentication or communication with the YouTube servers.
The disconnection from YouTube can be made at any time within uhub.io or via https://myaccount.google.com/connections?filters=3,4&hl=en . Disconnecting ends access to your YouTube data. The deletion of stored OAuth tokens and other connection data is carried out according to the agreements in the data processing agreement (DPA) between uhub.io and the respective customer.
When using the YouTube features within uhub.io, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy also apply.
